On the 13th and 14th October I visited the Art Market which took place at Millenáris, in Budapest. Basically this event is about introducing several Hungarian and international galleries and artists showcasing their new collections.
Various galleries were present, such as Lumas Gallery, Várfok Gallery, ART+TEXT Budapest, acb Gallery and many others. The exhibition showed pieces of contemporary art, including paintings photos, videos, posters, sculptures etc.
It was definitely worth visiting the Art Market, not just to see the range of today’s galleries, but to get inspired from the works of the featured artists and get their messages they send through their artworks.
I liked the photographs best. My favourite was the Hervés’ black and white collection. It was interesting to see the works of father and son in one exhibition and the unusual use of a polaroid camera by Rodolf. (Association des Amis de Lucien Hervé & Rodolf…
